David TIQUANT was born in 1970 in Sucy-en-Brie, in Val-de-Marne. Writer, philosopher and musician of Martinican origin, he lives in the Paris region. His works, his lectures and the philosophical workshops he offers invite us to look towards a horizon beyond which, through the experience of thought and commitment, a free use of oneself begins. On the university side Double university course: - law studies (former doctoral student, Paris I University, Sorbonne), - philosophy studies (Paris X University, Nanterre). He forms a rock group with a few friends of which he is the bassist. 1987: Bassist, co-composer and singer of the group (Kazio). The 1990s: Creation of a record production and production company (IMC). He collaborates among others with the groups Malka Family (WEA), Silence (Chris Combette) and various other groups and artists ranging from rap to rock through zouk. He notably produced the first album of the group Dey (Flarenasch), and co-produced the first album of the group Minister Amer (Musidisc / EMI). Since: David Tiquant plays, sings, composes and performs occasionally. He is preparing an album which is scheduled for release in 2019. Find out more ....
